Liturgical ministers are lay people who serve in a variety of roles to assist the priest and deacon in the preparation and celebration of Mass. They include the Choir, Altar Servers, Lectors, and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (Eucharistic Ministers) along with many other ministries.
